    I was looking at the 10 greatest books of all time. He left off Charles Dickens and Jane Austen. I have to say that after Shakespeare, these two are the greatest writers in the English language in my humble opinion.

      Hi Don. I too highly rate Dickens and Austen. However, I guess that all of these lists really just represent one person’s (or one small group’s) subjective opinions. I find them interesting to browse through, even if my own tastes differ somewhat.
